Friday we went up to This is the Place Monument Park. It was a blast, they have a ton of stuff to do up there. Sam's favorite part was of course riding, petting the animals. He loves animals!
We went to a couple of the little houses and my nieces and nephews got to learn how they disciplined back in the pioneer days. It was quite comical really. We rode a little train and Dan and Sam panned for Gold.
We could have stayed there all day but we had other plans so we had to wrap it up. Super fun place, I would highly recommend it. They have lot's of fun places to make crafts and pioneer things.
My parents bought us all a Utah pass or something like that. So it includes the This is the Place park, lunch at the Lion House, Discovery Gateway and a bunch of other stuff we didn't have time for. After this is the place we went to Lion House for lunch. It was delicious! Seriously, their rolls are awesome.
My mom volunteers down at the Church office building giving tours. We have all wanted to see what she does so we went over there after lunch to get the tour. It was fun and I'm really glad we did it. Look at this view, amazing!
All the grandkids minus my sister Liz's kids who are in Japan and Khiana who was sleeping.
We went on a quick tour of the Brigham Young house which was sweet and then we headed down to Gateway museum. This place was awesome and I think everybody had a great time. Especially the kids.
Of course Sam loved the balls and the animals the most.
That was a fun filled busy day. I think we all went home exhausted. Well, I know I was.
My family went miniature golfing on Saturday but Dan and I had a ton to do to get ready for Ellie's blessing so we spent all day working in the yard and the house getting ready to have everyone over for the blessing.
