Everyone got here on Saturday and we went to the Real soccer game. Fun had by all. Monday was the zoo. I have loved having a zoo pass and have already gotten my money's worth. Even though the Hogle Zoo doesn't hold a candle to the San Diego Zoo we still had a great time.
Sam was in heaven with all of his cousins.
Tuesday we went to Cherry Hill. I tried taking Ellie in the morning and it was really hard. I really hate taking Ellie to Cherry Hill. I kind of regret getting a pass but I will definitely get my money's worth. Anyway, I took Ellie to my parents and got her to sleep then I went back with everyone and Sam. It was so much fun and Ellie slept the entire time she was at my parents. The weather wasn't super great this day. It was still warm but there were some scattered showers so it wasn't busy at all, it was awesome.
I got hardly any pictures of Cherry Hill so this is all we've got folks. Well, I did get some fun ones but they all include other people in swimsuits and I just don't think it's nice to be posting pictures of others in bathing suits. I certainly wouldn't want to be on somebody else's blog in my swimsuit.
Wednesday we went to the Hill Air Force Base Musuem on our way up the canyon.
I thought Sam would love it and he did like it but after about 20 minutes or so he was done. I quite enjoyed it but the kids kind of got bored after a while. After that we went up the canyon to play. I don't know the name of the canyon but it's right at the bottom of Sardine canyon by Brigham City. I have so many fun memories up there. We used to go up the canyon a lot when we were younger and we loved exploring, camping and playing. It was so much fun.
Roasting mallows. Sam loved roasting the mallows and I love s'mores, love them! It contains sugar, nobody should be surprised by this. :)
Sam loved throwing rocks in the river and playing with his cousins. The weather was crazy this day as well. Sunny then raining, sunny then raining. We still had a great time. Ellie was an angel and had a nice snooze in the back of the car for a while. Sam was filthy dirty after but it was worth it.
Grandpa is the pro roaster. He always has been. He always had the perfectly browned mallow growing up and it still continues. Oh memories.
Thursday was Lagoon. Sam was so brave I was shocked. He's kind of a scaredy cat. He definitley takes after me here. I'm not super adventerous and kind of get scared doing things. Sam get's real nervous when we get in new situations and he gets freaked out but he did great and loved Lagoon.
Me and Ellie Bells. I am still completely obsessed with this girl. Seriously I cannot get enough of her. More of that later.
Sam loved the train b/c it had animals. It was actually a pretty sweet ride. The animals are awesome and I quite enjoyed it myself as well.
My sister and bro-in-law and their little girl Khiana who is ADORABLE! Seriously, this girl has attitude already and she is beautiful. She was born I think 6 or so weeks before Ellie. Should be fun in the coming years to have them so close.
Sam loved this whale ride, loved it. It was definitely his favorite ride.
Ha, ha, I had to put his picture in here. These are my nephews and this is what I got when I told them to smile.
Seriously look at his face. We took him on Bombora and he was terrified. Dan said his face was purple the whole time because he wasn't breathing. He didn't cry but I don't think I will every forget that poor terrified face again. I felt terrible but he survived.
Here's a lot of the clan getting read to go on the log ride. I didn't want to get wet so I opted to stay back. Dan, Sam and Tyler got soaking wet. Word to the wise don't put don't put six people in a log.
Grandpa and Ellie, oh cute. :)
Last ride of the night on the train.
None of us had been to Lagoon in years. Really, like, 10 years. It was actually a lot of fun. Some of the family went to Lagoon A Beach and it looked like a ton of fun. I wouldn't mind going back to Lagoon it was a lot of fun.
