Tulip Festival!

I love tulips, my mom knows this.  In fact she brought me these beauties (they are starting to die in this picture but whatev) after I had Ellie just to be nice.  They made me happy.  With Dan never home and me feeling like crap after I had Ellie they really did make my day.  I think this was the same day my mom came and planted peas in our garden too.  She probably had Sam that day as well.  Wow, mom's are the best, thanks mom!

Anywho my mom and the kiddos and I packed up and went down to Thanksgiving Point for the Tulip Festival.  It did not disappoint.  It was a beautiful day and the tulips were a bloom.  Sam's favorite part was throwing rocks or anything he could find really into any water he could find.

Ellie was a little fussy when we went.  But my mom became the designated baby rocker and things seemed to be fine.  As long as Ellie was moving she was happy.  

Oh my word, I can't believe I neglected to mention where we went before the tulip festival.  Before we went down we stopped at Kneaders for lunch.  I AM OBSESSED with Kneaders.  Really, I love it!  Yummy salad, soups, sandwiches, breads, treats oh my.  I feel my hips growing just thinking about it.  

I caught Sam getting some pretty sweet air.  He literally wanted to throw a rock into every single one of these pools.  I had to put my foot down after about three.  I don't have the patience for that kind of jazz.  

Sam had such a great time running around and we were all loving the weather.  Thanks for a great time mom!
