Easter pictures

I took some cute, quick pictures of Sam and Ell on Easter morning.  Sam really did not want to have his picture taken but he cooperated long enough to get a couple that I thought were decent.  I'll need to try again sometime soon.

I wanted to get a picture of me with them in my church clothes but we lost Sam so I had Dan take a quick one when we got home.  I had already changed and yet again it is evident, I NEED SOME SUN & sleep!!
Sure would have been nice if Ellie had been looking. :-)  We'll try again soon!
This one would have been decent if Sam wouldn't have been playing around with his tongue.
Sam has the best memory.  He will remember things from books, puzzles, etc. that I had forgotten.  I do realize that my memory is terrible but I am amazed at what he remembers.
His new thing is telling Dan and I that we are his best friends forever.  It is adorable and nearly brings a tear to my eye every time he says it.  We were coloring the other day and said "Wow, good job mommy. You're my best friend forever."  I love it!
He tells Ellie how cute she is all the time and how much he loves her.  "I love you Ellie, you are so cute." He really is a great big brother.  I need to get a notebook and start writing down the things Sam says b/c he is constantly cracking me up.  Kids say the darndest things right?
He goes to bed sooo easily now and it is so nice.  He'll tell us that he is tired and wants to go to bed.  Of course he doesn't nap anymore so I think that's why he is so ready for bed.  He still wakes up early but we are awesome parents and put a show on for him until at least 7:00 and then we'll get up.  :-)

My kids are adorable, I know! :-)

Ellie is just too darn cute...and so is Sam! You do have some cuties. I also tried to get me and jeff in our easter pictures thinking we could maybe have somewhat of a family picture finally but our kids didn't last long enough either. I can't wait to see this cute little girl of yours. I don't know what the weather is like this week but we need to go to the park soon or something.
