We didn't have any good snow gear for Sam so he didn't last long. Notice his sweet snow pants from last year. They are way too small and short. We are such awesome parents.
Friday we went down to Provo to the Carl Bloch art exhibit at the BYU Museum of Art with some of the Simmons clan.. The art was amazing. The two year old that wanted to run around and make a lot of noise, not amazing! Yeah, art museum's aren't for two year olds. The art really was beautiful though and Dan and I both really enjoyed it. We stopped by the BYU Creamery for a little treat afterwards. I didn't get any good pictures but that's all right. As I was putting a 2010 book together for Mom and Dad S I realized I was terrible last year with picture taking. Hard to believe I know. Anyway, I'm going to try to be better in 2011.
We went up to the Simmons house on New Years Eve but left pretty early. I didn't make it until midnight. I think I was out by 11. Saturday I could not take the mess of our house any longer so while Dan took Sam sledding with some of the Simmons clan I stayed home and literally cleaned for 4 hours straight. Oh and I got Sam some new snow boots, snow pants and additional snow gear so he lasted much longer this time. It is amazing how much you can get done when you are home alone. I took all my Christmas down, cleaned and organized and it felt SOOOO GOOD!
We had a great two weeks full of holiday fun. Now onto getting ready for this baby! Wow, she is coming way too fast, I really can't believe it but we are all excited. Sam asks me if he can hold the baby all the time, tries to give the baby toys in my belly, says hi to the baby, etc. We'll see how excited he is when she really comes.
