Favorite Things 2010

Our annual favorite things party has come and gone and it was a blast.  We started the night by eating some delicious soup.  I have been obsessed with soups lately and this delicious chicken enchilada did NOT disappoint.  We had salad, veggies, spinach dip (so, so good) and an array of delicious desserts.

This year we had it at Cyd, Kierstin and Jen's house and they had it decorated so, so cute.  It really made me want to decorate my house but seeing that I have no bookcases or shelves it makes it hard to put anything up.  It takes time to collect great decorations right?  The gifts piled in with each new arriving participant and we were all excited to see what goodies awaited us.  After our delicious dinner, we got started.

We modeled some of our great gifts early on.  I absolutely love that shower cap in case you were wondering.

I loved everything that we got.  Along with the shower cap we got some grapefruit essential oil (yummy)!  We got some awesome bath products from Lush (not in Utah), super cute owl decoration, lip glosses, nail polishes, flower pin, leggings, books, great hairspray, earrings, bronzer, candy, flowers, Coldstone gift card, frame, a CD of Cyd's favorite music, two great bags and I am sure I am missing some things.  Oh it was fun.  I gave zip jackets b/c they truly are one of my favorite things.  I would say borderline obsessive.  

It truly was like Christmas morning.  And it is always fun to try everybody's 'favorite' things.  I love this picture of all of us below.  I think the timer on my camera did a wonderful job.  Thanks ladies, can't wait until next year!!

Thank you Mom S for watching Sam that night.  Dan had meetings all night so I dropped Sam off and Mom and Dad Simmons house.  I felt bad I got back so late but it sure was a great night out with the ladies.  Thanks again!!
