Well folks, we've got another Dan/Emily Simmons combo. on it's way. We are very excited and they will try to find out in about a week and a half what the sex of the baby is. I am almost 15 weeks and am feeling pretty darn good. I don't know if you notice how many times I have mentioned in my previous posts about being really lazy and tired. If so, this is why.
I actually feel very, very lucky that I haven't been super sick. I've had some rough days and of course get very tired but really for the most part have been feeling great! I have still been able to work out and it has felt great. My running mileage is definitely not as much as it was but I am still trying to run at least 3-4 miles a day. Okay, in all honesty some days are more of a run/walk but I'm okay with that and I am just proud of myself for doing something. Lifting weights absolutely sucks it out of me. It really wears me out. I hardly worked out at all with Sam so I am glad I am working out with this one. I remember feeling worse with Sam but now I'm just trying to decide if I was a wimp or really was sick. It was a lot harder when I worked b/c I was forced to get out of bed and get dressed. I like not having to do that b/c if I am feeling like crap I stay in my pajamas and lay on the floor and play with Sam. It's pretty great actually.
I do feel like I was WAY more moody with this one at the beginning. Maybe it's a girl and those extra hormones were overwhelming me, who knows!! Let me just say that Dan is a very patient, kind man. Really, I was grumpy and not very nice to him on some days. Which is ridiculous b/c he really didn't deserve it. Not that you didn't know it anyway but really he is a GREAT man.
I started this pregnancy 20 pounds lighter and in a lot better shape then when I started with Sam so I wonder if that helps with how I feel as well. After we got married I was kind of burned out with running and just got kind of lazy so I was a bit heavier then but I often wonder if that is why I have been feeling so good. Sam doesn't really understand b/c my belly isn't very big yet but he knows it's in there if we ask him. Anyway, we are all very excited. We will keep you posted on the updates of the little one. Hopefully they will be able to find out at 16 weeks and we won't have to wait another month like we did with Sam. That was a killer!!

hey, congrats! I'm so excited for you. Guess what.... I'm expecting too! I'm 10 weeks right now, so we'll have kids the same age again! wahoo!
Congrats! I was so excited to hear your news when we got together. I can't believe you are feeling so great and I am jealous cause you are in such good shape too. It was definately opposite for me with this one... I was much sicker and in much worse shape. Maybe the two really are connected! We are really excited for you guys!
Congrats! I am excited for your family to have another little one. Sam is so cute and I am sure he will love being an older brother.
