Sam thought it was pretty cool that the ambulance parked in the driveway so I just had to get a picture.
They have a speaker every year and this year they had Jack Tueller a WWII veteran. He gave an amazing little talk. I missed half of it b/c Sam decided to throw a tantrum and hit the neighbor girl but the part I heard was great. Pretty much, don't hold grudges, it just hurts you more then anybody else. Amen brother. My mom has been telling me that for years and I totally agree. After he talked he sat down and played like 4 songs on his trumpet.
It was awesome and yet again brought me to tears. There was a huge article on him in the Deseret News and this guy is truly amazing. After the flag ceremony they have a huge breakfast for everybody. I have yet to eat there but I hear it is pretty good as well. Dan was golfing so he missed it his year and he really missed out.
We left around 1 to head up to Tremonton. Grandma and Grandpa Simmons owned a farm that they recently sold so everybody was going out there one last time. I had never been there and Dan hadn't been there in years. Papa Simmons brought a bag of golf balls and some golf clubs for Sam. He absolutely loved it of course. Played for a while too.
Here's everybody that was up there that day. Pretty good crowd eh?
We walked around and looked at all the old farm equipment, old houses and old barns that were out there. I don't think I could ever be a farmer. Talking to Gary it sure sounds like a TON of work.
Another great, long day. It was a really fun weekend but as I said previously I was ready to get back to normal nap times, bed times and routine. Sam has been going through Daddy withdrawals all week. He was getting use to having Dan around more and so was I, it was awesome!!

That is such a classic picture of Sam on the back of the ambulance! That's one he will be showing off to his kids!
