Happy 29th to Me!!

My birthday has come and gone again. I feel good that I haven't hit the big 30 yet. Sorry for my friends that just recently have. Sorry old ladies, but I'll be joining you next year. :) My mom took me to lunch at the delicious Plates and Palates and I enjoyed every bite of that delicious salad and roll. The Simmons had a get together for me as well and that was super nice of them. Thanks everyone for taking the time to come that was very sweet of you. And thanks Mom S for planning it and for my gifts. She made me a quilt that I love. I have had an obsession with quilts for probably about 15 years now. I don't know why, I just love quilts. Any kind. So I was really excited she made me one, thanks again! I'll put a picture up in the next little while.
Sam loved it when they were singing happy birthday to me. He was giggling and clapping. I'm pretty sure he thought they were singing to him.

And a shout out to Monica for making this delicious cake. THANK YOU! Seriously folks, it was so ridiculously good I'm pretty sure I could have eaten the entire thing. In fact I brought some home for Danny and I ate the bottom layer of that piece. I'm pretty sure he thinks it was just a two layer cake but I couldn't resist, it was calling my name. And I justified that it was my birthday for eating so much. :) Don't judge please. Danny worked from about 7:30am to 10pm on my birthday so I saw him for like 20 minutes when he got home. Is busy season over yet? I sure hope it is coming soon b/c we are both REALLY sick of it. 

Friday night my parents took us out to the Mandarin in Bountiful and it was delicious as usual. I love that place. Thanks Dad!! My parents are replacing the stereo in my car for my birthday. Sad that it takes a birthday gift to finally get that done but I am really excited to finally have music in the car. I am sensing that Sam is getting pretty sick of the made up games we play as we drive. Honestly, they are kind of exhausting for me sometimes too. I just want to sit and drive instead of entertaining him sometimes. 

It was a great birthday and thanks again for all my gifts and birthday wishes. So generous of all of you. Stay tuned for two of the best birthday presents I have ever received. Okay, that is probably an exaggeration but there are a couple of things I got around my birthday that aren't really birthday presents but I am considering them birthday presents b/c I got them around my birthday. Both AWESOME!!
