We should have done it a long time ago.

When we first got the house the inspector told us we should have the insulation looked at. We did have it looked at but it wasn't something that we needed to do to get moved into the house so it kind of got pushed off to the wayside. We were told we had pretty much no insulation in the attic. Well after getting a couple months of ridiculously high heating bills we got more serious about it. Unfortunately Bountiful city runs their own utilities so we didn't get the Rocky Mtn. rebate for getting insulation but we will get most of the insulation paid for by the Questar rebate and then a tax rebate also available. Our heater has been running WAY less and I mean WAY less. I'm amazed at what a difference it makes. I am anxious to get the bill to find out how much it really did save us. Should help us a ton in the summer as well. Pretty exciting post huh? I just wanted it in here.
