This is one of the million reasons why it needs to get warm!

I have talked about this before but I caught it all on camera the other day. I was being a nice mom and letting Sam play outside. It was a cold day and I hate the cold so we usually only go out to play if it is mid 40's and sunny. It was cloudy, cold and windy. Anyway he was playing away and I was freezing and taking pictures of him. Here he is having a good time, playing with Danny's old golf clubs.  I finally forced his coat on him.

And then he had to get himself into trouble. I was telling him "Sammy don't do that, it's going to hurt your hards" the entire time he was doing this but I realize he is a 17 month old child and doesn't really understand. So he proceeded to put his hand in this bucket of ice cold water. Sure, it was fun at first. 

and then the pain hit and it got ugly.

Poor kid. You know how bad your hands hurt when they get really cold. This happens probably 75% of the time we play outside. He can't keep his hands out of the snow or ice water. I took him in and ran his hands under the warm water and he was good but seriously can it get warm yet? I am sooooo sick of the cold weather.
