Yeah, I know I told you I would be back to blogging soon and now two weeks later I still have no updates. Well, if my garden would stop producing so much dang good produce I could stop harvesting it and blog. Seriously, I LOVE having a garden but I'm ready to rip it all up and be done with it. Harvesting food is SO MUCH WORK. How my mother did peaches, cherries, pears, etc, I will never know. It seriously consumed all of my nights once the kids went to bed. I don't know about you but standing in the kitchen working with food even more once the kids are in bed is the last thing i wanted to do. Luckily I realized that all of the delicious produce would rot quickly if I didn't do something with it pretty much forced me to do it. I made salsa, diced tomatoes, applesauce, tomato soup and more tomatoes. Yeah, we had a lot of tomatoes this year.
Anyway, I finally have harvested all I'm going to harvest and then I realize I still need to upload all of my pictures from the summer onto my computer and get them sorted so then that pushed me back even further. Oh and my amazingly good sleeper Ellie has decided that it is so much fun staying up until 9 o'clock. I know that's not late but it is for me.
Okay, so without further adieu, here we go...

Next year, when I have a garden, will you teach me how to harvest and can all of this stuff? I know, I know, it's a lot to ask, but I'll make it up to you somehow. :) It all sounds delish!!
