Halloween Party Animals #1!

I love Halloween.  Okay, so I really hate finding costumes for everybody but other then that I think it's fun.  This year it felt like we had a ton of parties.  I was in charge of Joy School that week so I had the kids wear their costumes.  That was a disaster but then again so is Joy School.  In case you were wondering I probably won't do it again.  I'm really discovering that I DO NOT enjoy watching other people's children.  That may be mean to say but it's true.  Sam loves it though so I do have motivation to keep it up.  Any who...
Friday night our good friends Devin and Jami had a couples party.  Talk about a blast.  We had so much fun.  We ate delicious food.  I'm not kidding the food was awesome.  Four different soups, cheese ball and crackers, spinach dip, veggie tray, fruit tray, different breads, oh my, my mouth is watering just thinking about it.  The girls sat at one table talking and the boys sat at another table watching the world series.  I definitely enjoyed the chit chat over boring, boring baseball.  I cannot stand baseball.

Had planned a bunch of 'Minute to Hallowinit' (get it? :) games.  Oh the laughter and cheering that went on was awesome.  It was so much fun being without kids and enjoying ourselves.  That does not happen enough.  Dan and I went as a 50's couple.

Sometimes I wish Dan would keep his eyes open for a picture.  :)  This is such a fun group of friends, we adore them.  We have big dreams of traveling to fun locations together where the guys go golfing and the ladies lay by the pool or go shopping.  One day it will happen.  It may be 20 years down the road but I'm convinced we will still be friends by then.  We have so much fun with them.  Thanks Jami and Devin for a great party, we had a blast!
