Ellie Bellie Boo!

Seriously, how can you not want to just eat her?  This is a little late but Ellie turned 6 months last month and she is growing nicely.  Her stats:
Height: 25 1/4 inches -- 30%
Weight: 17 lbs -- 70%
Head: 43 cm -- 65%
So she's short and chubby and oh how we love it!!
Ellie is definitely a dramatic girl.  You look at her wrong or knock her arm or leg or something she will let you know she isn't happy with you.  Dan and I don't remember Sam getting so upset over little things.  She has had a rough couple of weeks and this is the first day that she actually acted like herself and I was so happy.  Normal naps, happy, smiling, I was in heaven.  I still don't know what was wrong with her but she was sooooo, soooo grumpy.  I'm thinking teeth but none have come through yet. A few things about Ellie at 6/7 months.
-Pretty much done nursing.  I'm not sure what happened to my milk with Ellie but it's pretty much gone.  I'm kind of happy about the fact that I'm done nursing but formula is SOOO expensive.  A few more months and we'll be on cow's milk.
- Laughs super hard at Sam.  We can get her to smile and laugh but she loves Sam and will giggle so hard at him.
-Has started getting serious separation anxiety.  I leave the room and she flips.  I've had a couple people from the ward offer to watch her for me at times and it isn't going well b/c she screams unless I'm there.  She will calm down after a while but it's not pretty getting there.
-Awesome sleeper for the most part.
- Really, really wants to be mobile.  She rolls from her back to her tummy but can't get off her tummy so she scoots herself in a circle trying to move toward something.  She gets frustrated pretty quickly so it will be nice when she can get herself around.  I will definitely have to baby proof the place better when that happens.
-Like sweet potatoes and bananas.  That's pretty much the only thing I've tried.
-EVery time I'm eating anything she is trying to attack it.  I will let her try what I am eating depending on what is is and she really likes most food I've given her.  A girl after my own heart.
-She is LOUD!  She squawks and 'bah, bah's' really, really loudly.
-No teeth yet and her hair is slowly coming in.
-Sadly her eyes are changing from blue to green like mine.  I have nothing against green eyes but I really LOVED her blue eyes.  She's still a beautiful baby if I do say so myself. :)

We are still obsessed with her, she is so much fun.  Hoping her happy baby demeanor stays around and grumpy Ellie stays away.  I don't do well with grumpy Ellie.

Ellie 6 months, Sam 3 years. Love these kids!
