As a random side note he is LOVING nursery. That also results in me LOVING church so much more. :-) He even turned around and waved to me as I walked out today. Awesome! I love to peek in and see him having fun with the other kids.

One of my favorite things!
I love children's books. A few weeks or maybe even months ago Sam didn't want to read books. I was really hoping that this was a phase and I think it was. As of late he has been obsessed with reading books. I absolutely love to see him whip open his little bookshelf and look at the books deciding which one he wants to read. He will look at one and then throw it if he doesn't want that one, so there are books all over his floor all the time. No sense cleaning it up a million times a day right? He wants to do everything himself lately so a couple times last week he wouldn't let me read to him he just wanted to sit in the recliner and "read"by himself. It was adorable. Hearing him jibber jabber and turn the pages was hilarious, loved it! He is getting better and better at sitting and actually listening to the story. I hope his love for reading continues. I try and make sure to read to him every day so I think if I can keep that up he will. His vocabulary is really starting to increase. He doesn't talk much around anybody besides us for some reason but it seems as if he says multiple new words each day. I am loving it b/c we can actually communicate better now.

Oh how cute. Josh does the same thing with his books and it drives me crazy to have them all over the floor. Maybe I need a book shelf to put them in like yours but either way they don't stay there so I guess it doesn't matter.
he's so cute - I love it when they can finally communicate with you!
Darling! Maddie likes pulling books off shelves and going to the nursery too. By the way, she's really having a hard time calling Fox by his own name and not calling him 'Sam'--I guess the whole male cousin thing is difficult to sort out. Ha.
