3 year Anniversary and Mother's day

This should be a quick post. We did nothing to celebrate our Anniversary. That's not true, we went to a wedding. Danny's cousin Katie got married on May 5th so we went to her wedding dinner. It was fun. We were going to do something on the weekend but we didn't get a babysitter on Saturday and we didn't want to take Sam with us somewhere. We were pretty much just being lazy. No gifts, no romantic dinner and I'm pretty sure we are both fine with it. I know I am. We do need to do better about going on dates without Sam but I'm not one of those ladies that needs to be showered with flowers, mushy cards, etc. Here's to many more years ahead.

Now on to Mother's Day or should I say Barf day. Before we ate on Saturday I was feeling a little nauseas but I felt like I had hardly eaten anything that day so I ate dinner anyway. After we ate I just kept getting more sick. You know that, "I'm going to toss my cookies at any second feeling." About
two hours after we ate my dinner came right back up. I was sick all night and then most of Mother's day. I wasn't terribly sick on Mother's day just felt pretty crappy all day. Danny ended up getting the exact thing I had at around 5 that night. We were at his parents and we quickly left after he realized he had gotten what I had. We stopped by my parents really quick to wish my mom a happy mother's day. He stayed in the car until he had to toss his cookies and then he
came running in the house. We all got to listen to his vomiting, it was wonderful, right mom?
He was sick until about Monday afternoon. Just a quick flu bug I guess but it was very
unpleasant. Thank heaven it passed quickly. Not the best mother's day but happy late
mother's day to all of you great mom's out there.
*Don't ask me why the font is being retarded. I don't know what I did and Sam is awake from
his nap so I don't have the time to fix it.

I was starting to think you were pregnant until Dan got the same thing. As far as I know morning sickness isn't contagious. And I guess by the 3rd anniversary you just stop caring hu? Jeff and I have nothing planned either and I have been thinking I should do something sweet but then it will just make him feel quilty for not doing anything.

Em - I was sick on Mother's Day too. I didn't even go to church :( Lauren and I stayed home with our stuffy noses and coughing and Dave went by himself because he had to do Sharing Time in Primary :D

I got way behind on your posts--great updates. I fully support giving the gift of lazy to each other---best gift there is and it saves a bundle.
