PLEASE tell me I'm not dreaming!

I hesitate to even type this fearing that it may jinx us but Sam has been waking up in the 6 o'clock hour for a full week now. 7 DAYS!! I cannot even tell you what a difference that hour makes. I am really, really hoping that this continues. I never thought that waking up at 6:15 would be sleeping in but it is and it is WONDERFUL!! Of course this means that we are beginning a bran new schedule. Now instead of going down for his nap around 10 am it is more like 12 pm. However, on Sundays and today he didn't go down until 2 and he is still asleep. It is almost 5 and while I am not complaining about the nice long break I am getting  a little worried he will be up way late. With Dan working long hours it is nice to get Sam in bed and enjoy the evening of peace and quiet. But I won't complain about a 3 hour nap. A true answer to prayers!
And a quick bath story. You will notice he is still really enjoying the sink as a tub. In fact the other day I was cleaning the tub and I asked him if he wanted to get in and take a bath and he freaked out. Yikes! Our water is really loud when you turn it on but I hope he just wasn't in the mood for a bath instead of being afraid of the tub. Anyway so he was in the sink the other day and I was just cleaning the kitchen and he stands up and says "poo, poo" and then I hear plop, plop, plop. It was pretty gross but it cleaned up really easily and that was one less diaper I had to change. He is very interested in the toilet. I guess I should close the door when I go but he usually follows me around like a puppy so I usually don't feel like fighting him to shut the door. Anyway, he likes to get some toilet paper off and try to wipe my bum. Nice huh? It really translates into him rubbing my leg with toilet paper but he thinks he is helping me. I put him on the toilet the other day and he didn't like it. I think he was afraid he was going to fall in.  Such a ham!

Laughed out loud on this one--Maddie does the exact same thing and mutters 'wipe'. What a great little helper!!
