He just keeps getting funnier and funnier

I know, he is my child so I am extremely biased but really, Sam is so funny.  He has started pulling these faces and we laugh, so he of course keeps doing it b/c he knows it is funny.

He has been fake laughing so much lately it cracks us up. He tilts his head back and acts like he is laughing. If he is talking to us and we say what it is he wants he just starts laughing b/c we figured it out. He gets so excited when Dan comes home he will start showing off by fake falling all over the place and making funny falling noises. I need to put up some of the videos we have taken b/c they are quite funny. Well, they are probably only funny to us but whatever. He has really started LOVING trucks. He is such a boy I love it. They have to be big semi trucks or buses for him to get excited but when he sees them he just starts screaming tu, tu, tu and pointing and laughing and giggling. He is so smart too. (Again, I know I'm biased but I don't care.) He does a lot of things that makes me think he is super smart but I was telling Danny about this one tonight so I am going to put it down while I remember it. So, you know on the freeway when there are bumpy roads and if you sing just a single note you can hear your voice go up and down. Well whenever the road is like that I will make just one noise and my voice would go up and down and he started doing that with me thinking it was pretty cool. Well I noticed the other day that he felt the bumps in the road and started making the noise so he could hear his voice go up and down. Crazy what this kids remembers. I guess there are some advantages to not having a radio in your car. But seriously I wouldn't recommend it. I am really getting sick of not having one.

He has actually really started to talk quite well. He can say mama and dada obviously. Those have been around for a while. But this past week he started saying banana, hot, on, london. He just said London once but it was so dang clear we were all shocked. He couldn't repeat it after that but we will keep working on it. He tries to talk sooo hard. He will just stare at my lips when I am asking him to say stuff. He has been saying dog and duck for a while as well but he just can't get that last syllable down. So it will be do, du. Lot's of the words he tries to say are do or du but he really does try hard. It makes me so sad but excited at the same time. Soon he will be able to tell me what he wants instead of standing at my feet whining until I figure it out. He tries to say down and stairs, papa, fish and I can't think of the other ones. We were sitting at the Simmons tonight after dinner and asking him to say different words and he was doing so good I couldn't believe it. I guess I just need to practice with him more. I thought I would include some pictures I finally got of Sam looking at the camera. I guess these will have to do until I can talk Danny into going to a professional and getting family pictures taken. Sam is growing up so fast I just can't believe it. He only takes one nap now which I actually really like b/c it is 2-3 hours long so it is nice to have that. Unfortunately he use to nap around 9 so if I didn't get up early to work out I would always run on the treadmill during his morning nap. Now he doesn't go down until 11 or 12 and by then I don't fee like running. So it is 5 am for me and it is killing me. So, I guess I better go to bed so I can get up early. Boo hoo!

I love his big grin! it is so funny to see him in that striped outfit because Fox has the same one, so i'm not used to seeing a kid standing up and walking around with it on :)
