Disaster photo shoot!

Mom S bought some cute clothes for all the grandkids and she wanted to get pictures with them all together. We attempted it a little over a week ago and lets just say it was not very successful. For starters I am just use to playing around and taking pictures of Sammy. I can play around with all of the settings on the camera until I get it just how I want it but that wasn't really an option here. I don't know how to photograph large groups of children. It's hard, they are all over the place and not wanting their pictures taken. Here are some of the pictures. The best ones we got were with Mom S in the picture. She wasn't very happy about it but I think they are cute .

I included the below picture so you could get a small glimpse of what a fiasco it was. Notice Shelley and Mandy in the back holding up their babies. The kids were NOT cooperating. It could have been that it was 4:30 in the afternoon. Maybe next time we should try the morning.

Luke and Mia actually did a pretty good job of sitting still but Ginger struggled which is why Mary is in most of the pictures I took of these three :-)

Here is Sammy with his signature face again being the ham that he is. I didn't get a good picture of him but I didn't try really hard because I am always taking pictures of him so we will try again later.

I am sad that Fall is gone but I really can't complain b/c we had a wonderful fall. Lots of beautiful, clear warm days. I am going to miss it greatly. I am sooo not ready for winter. But we should be in our house by Wednesday so that makes me VERY, VERY HAPPY!!
I forgot my camera to take pictures of everything we got done on Saturday so I will go get the pictures taken tomorrow and get it posted. I am proud of myself for staying so on top of my blog through this whole thing. I just really want to remember it and if I don't do it while it is happening I know I will forget it all so that is my motivation. I took a wonderful 3 1/2 hour nap today so I could be up for a while. but I need to get up early to work out and then go finish the trim in the house before Sam wakes up so Danny can put the doors on tomorrow night so I guess I better at least try to go to bed early.
