Judge me if you will

I know many of you may not like Dr. Laura but I just so happen to love her. Sure, she can be rude to people sometimes but if you listen to her long enough you realize why she is so rude. Sometimes the people deserve it! Even though I do not agree with everything she says, I really do feel like listening to her makes me a better wife and mother. Anyway, I just finished reading her book "In Praise of Stay at Home Moms" and loved it. I got it from the library but I liked it so much I am pretty sure I will be buying it soon. I have loved being at home with Sam and it is what I have wanted to do for as long as I can remember. But it was just a great book reminding me of why it is so important to stay at home. I am super anti daycare and you would have to kill me to make me go back to work and put Sam in a daycare all day so I didn't need persuading. It was just a great book that I would highly recommend to stay at home moms or anybody considering it.
And just a quick shout out to both of our Moms who were wonderful Stay At Home Moms and have made us the amazing people we are today. :) Ha ha. But really, thanks for all of your sacrifice ladies. Heaven knows having 7 kids must have been hard some days.

It's nice to remember why you are at home and that it really is beneficial :)

I am a Dr. Laura fan too. I torture Chris with it on Fridays when we are together in the car. I really enjoy listening to her harsh criticism and cackle. She may be a bit blunt, but I agree, most people need to hear it! Sam sounds like he's doing great!

I am going to have to go check that book out now! And funny thing is, it is usually the women who listens to her, but Jeff is the big Dr. Laura fan in our house.
