I have come to realize that I have a love/hate relationship with this
my treadmill. Well, technically it is my parents treadmill. I kind of just took it with me when I moved. Ever since I had Sam I absolutely love this thing. Actually, ever since my parents bought it I starting liking treadmills more. I use to hate running on the treadmill but once they got it I kind of starting liking the idea of watching tv/movie while working out at HOME. But ever since I had Sam I have really fallen in love with it. I can guarantee I wouldn't work out half as much as I do if I didn't have a treadmill. It is easier on my body and nobody sees me running. I like the privacy of running freely inside without having to worry about my bum jiggling all over the place and my tank top riding up, and the list goes on. I also have headphones i plug into the tv and so I can watch a movie or tv while running. It really makes the time go by quickly. I still like listening to music while I run. It defanitely makes me run faster but sometimes I just don't feel like listening to music. Anywho, I digress.
So why do I say I have a love/ hate relationship when all I have talked about it how much I love it. Well, I signed up to run the Ogden Half Marathon which is 2 days away. Heaven help me. Anyway as I started training for that I would run on the treadmill most of the work outs but I would try to go outside a few times. I hate the treadmill b/c I feel like it has crippled me when I run outside. The ground underneath me isn't constantly moving like a treadmill so it makes me feel like I have to work extra hard when I run outside. I don't know if that makes any sense but running on the treadmill so much has really made it hard for me to run outside. That is the pretty much the only reason I hate the treadmill. Random post I know but I have been thinking a lot about it so I thought I would get those thoughts down.
I love having a treadmill. I am always worried that it is going to break and then I would be stuck without one. I love that I can lay Sam down for his morning nap and hop on for a quick run. Sure, some runs are much shorter then I would choose b/c Sam wakes up early but still just the fact that I can makes me so happy. I will let you know how the race goes. Wish me luck!!

Mark and I were talking about that treadmill the other day. We saw a turbo one at Costco and it reminded us of when we had to use our truck (many years ago) to go pick up the treadmill because dad bought it on the internet and had it delivered to some seedy warehouse to Mike and his friends had to help us get it down the stairs and around that tight corner at the bottom. I still can't believe you got it out of there, glad to hear it's getting good use. What's the race update?
