Sam had his 4 month well check today with a new pediatrician. I had to wait for an hour and a half every time I went to the other pediatrician and among other reasons decided to find a new doctor. The new doctor is about .1 mile from our apartment so when it's nice weather I can easily just walk there. I like him so far so we'll see. Sam's stats are as follows:
Height: 25 1/2 inches 75%
Weight: 14 lbs. 8oz. 45%
Head Circumference: 41 cm 20%
So as you can see, Sam has a small head. His head has always been super small. Dan and I are both actually worried that he is going to have a small head and be in proportionate. I hope he grows into it. The doctor said they don't worry about it unless the head is 5% so I guess we are okay. I was surprised he didn't weigh more. At his 2 month check up he was 12 lbs. 4 oz. or something close to that and in the 95% for weight. So I was surprised he was only in the 45th% this time. He got his immunizations today and did pretty good. He of course was screaming when the shots took place and he cried for a couple of minutes and then he fell asleep on the way home and slept for about an hour and a half. He wasn't ornery at all and was quite pleasant all day. Not to mention he has been going to bed like a champ this week. Lay him down around 8 or 8:30 after the night time routine and we don't hear a peep. I hope it continues. I had photo shoot with Sam today for his 4 month pictures and they turned out okay. I took some really cute ones Sunday as well. I am pretty sure that he keeps getting cuter. I don't know how, but the pictures say it all. :-)
Dang, I posted the blurry one. Oh well, I'm not going to change it.
And I'm pretty sure this is how Sam feels about me taking so many pictures. Love this kid!

Once, again great job on the pics. So cute! Could you fly to Arizona and take some pics for me? Ha ha.
I would worry about the whole head thing. Both my girls are in the 25th percentile and it never changes. They are normal as far as I know! I actually have a small head myself, so I never really worried. I bet he will be just fine!
He is adorable. What cute pictures.
robie has an uncharacteristically small head and he turned out fine (depending on who you ask anyway :)) cute pictures and congrats on the new dr. I hate going to a dr you don't even like!
