Annie and the Jazz

On Saturday I took my niece Courtney to the play Annie. It was a small performance put on by Farmington City. It was pretty cute. It was actually called Annie Jr. because there were no adults in the play. I have to admit, it was pretty comical to see young teenagers playing Daddy Warbucks and President Roosevelt.  We grabbed a quick lunch at Subway and then headed to a matinee show. It was in a tiny little city hall building. Picture chairs set up in a cultural hall in front of the stage.It was defanitely a small town presentation but Court and I had a good time. I really enjoy her company and it was fun to go do something just her and I. I have to enjoy the time of nieces and nephews while I have some living close. Who knows where the Army will send them next. Hopefully here!! I actually enjoy all of my nieces and nephews company. I would love to take each of them on a one on one activity and was planning on doing that with the ones that are here and old enough. A bunch of them live out of state so I only get to see them a few times a year. I am very much looking forward to everybody coming for Christmas. 

On the same note Dan took Cyrus to a Jazz game tonight. My mom has a great friend who has season tickets to the Jazz games. It seems like she can't make it to a lot of the games so she gives the tickets to my mom. So nice of her. My mom called today to see if Dan would like the tickets. So Dan took Cyrus with him. Maybe I should have waited to post about it after I found out how it went but I'm sure they are having a great time.  Even though the best players on the team are injured. Including my favorite, Kyle! Dan is going to think I am so lame for putting that picture up. :-) I have now tried 3 times to put up the picture I took of Dan and Cyrus before they left for the game and it won't upload for some reason. I will have to try it a different time. For now, enjoy the pictures of Kyle.
