Oh how time flies

Sam  is almost 2 months old but we just had his  2 month check-up yesterday, more of that later. I wanted to get some of the birthing details down before I start posting about the present. I typed a bunch down somewhere else so I won't include all  of the details.  Sam was born on September 5th 2008. He was 8 DAYS LATE and it will probably take a couple more months to forget how miserable it was. I am starting to forget though so that's a good sign. I went in to the hospital about 7:30 am to be induced. They started the petocin at about 8 and I labored without an epidural for about 3-4 hours. After that, I was done. Epidural in and life was good. I was not progressing at all so they upped the petocin two times and finally we were ready to go at about 8 pm. Sam was born after 3 pushes and 8 minutes. He weighed in at 7 lbs. 6 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long. I thought he was going to be a lot bigger so I was happy with the size.
