Organic Costco, Veggie Mash and a Shark

I was really looking forward to watching the Biggest Loser on my run this morning but for some reason Hulu didn't have it up yet.  Huge controversy over the winner, huh?!  I haven't watched it yet but lot's of folks think the winner was way too thin and I have to agree.  But I don't judge so moving on.  Workout was an easy 3 miles and  this GPP workout.

All GPP workouts can be found here at www.gppfit.com.  I loved this one.

Should I be embarrassed to admit that I get excited on the days that I am going to Costco?  Well, I"m not, I love that place.  Today when we went they had all these new green signs up.  Can you guess what it means?  Everything with a green sign is organic.  I should probably care more about eating everything organic but I don't.  I'm not anti-organic but I don't search it out.  Well, now Costco doesn't make you search it out.  Just look for the green sign.  Interesting marketing going on here.
It was a protein kind of haul today.  One of the advantages of living so close to Costco is you can go every few days for just a few things.  :) Do you enjoy looking to see what other people are buying while you are shopping?  I quite enjoy looking to see what other people have in their carts.  Mostly because I feel like other people find awesome stuff that I never see. Those oranges are incredible in case you were wondering.

Once we got home from picking up Sam we did a quick learning time, I'm not going to lie, I was not feeling it today.  We got a little bit in as well as reading time and scriptures and then it was finally lunch time.  I am loving this lunch lately.  I know the picture is not appetizing but I assure you that it is really good.  I really need to work on my food photography skills so you actually believe me when I say that my food is, in fact delicious.

Here's the breakdown of my Vegetable Mash:
1 c. cooked butternut squash
1 c. roasted vegetables
1/2 c. ground turkey
1/4 of an avocado
Mustard
Low Sugar ketchup
The nice thing about this is I prep everything in bulk so when lunch time hits I just throw it all in a bowl, warm it up and I'm ready to go.  I got to enjoy eating this about 30 minutes after putting it all together.  Ben was being stinker and Ellie needed a million different things.  I was so hungry so it tasted that much better.  Sometimes I do 1/2 c. of brown rice instead of the butternut squash but the squash is just so delicious I can't stop having it.  Try it, and let me know if you do!
Sam was at a friends house again and I finally got the two little ones down for their naps and I got to clean, yippee!!
Have you guys seen this shark cleaner?
This was our Christmas gift from Mom and Dad S and I love it!  It seriously makes cleaning the floors so fast.  It works great, leaves no film and I don't have to get on my knees.  Win, win!!
Before I go have my delicious nighttime snack of greek yogurt with blueberries I wanted to wish my niece Khiana a very happy 3rd birthday.  We called and wished her a happy birthday today and got to hear her singing happy birthday to herself, it was awesome.  This is a way old picture but it's the most recent I could find.  Happy Birthday Khiana!
