We decided to go to Park City this year and it did not disappoint. We got a beautiful three story condo and it was so much fun. We started at Cafe Rio because why wouldn't we? It was delicious as always. I don't know if I will ever tire of that place. After dinner we came back and got settled in our place and got all our gifts set out.
We were all very excited to open gifts. It is like Christmas morning.
I mean, look at the pure joy and excitement on these faces.
We drew numbers and then just went in order starting with 1. I hope I can remember all that we got. We got a great pair of Toms from Al and Kell. Love mine! We got an awesome water bottle from Lyndsi that I love. It keeps fluids at whatever temperature you put in there for a very, very long time. We put a ton of ice in one overnight to test it out and all the ice was still in there when we woke up. I love it! But I do have a slight obsession with water bottles so I was sure to love it. I gave an itunes gift card and an owl necklace. We got a couple of great books. I really do love books! A gift card to the sweet tooth fairy. I had never been there but when I went to use the gift card I realized just how yummy that place is. We got some great nail polishes, lip glosses, dry shampoo, victoria secret shirt, another water bottle and another great shirt from Old Navy. We got Cyd's favorite songs CD again. We get it every year and I love it. I am sure that I am forgetting something. Everything was wonderful and I loved it all. After gift opening we ate treats and talked until wee hours of the morning.
We slept in until as late as we could which wasn't very late for most of us. Had breakfast and got ready for shopping the outlets in Park City. It had been a very long time since I have shopped like that without children. I loved it and got some great stuff. I think I could have stayed all day but we left at about 1:30 or 2:00. I got home around 3:00 and back to reality.
It was a wonderful weekend. I feel like I should have more girl getaways, they really are great for the soul. LOVE this weekend and look forward to it every year, all year long. I love that I have been friends with most of these ladies since Junior High. I love them and look forward to many, many more favorite things outings in the future.
