Stairs, oh goodness, she loves the stairs.
Sorry about the quality these are all from my phone. My camera battery is dead so I'm just going to use these for now. I can't believe I didn't get any pictures of Sam playing at the 'ball shoot' (that's what Sam calls it.) He seriously loves this thing and talks about it often. Ellie liked it too. I thought this was a picture when I started putting it in but it's a video and it's not very exciting. But it's already in here so I'll just leave it. I have no idea who this girl is but she loved Ellie.
I can't remember what day this was but a while back it was pretty warm (mid 50's, hardly warm) so I decided we were going to go to the zoo. Ellie took a longer nap then usual so we took off a little later then we would have but I was determined to get out of the house and do something. We drive all the way to the zoo which isn't that far away but it takes forever to get through all the lights and to the top of the mountain. Anway, we get up there and they had closed 5 minutes before. Grrr! Apparently the zoo closes as 4 o'clock in the winter??? Well, the gates close at 4 and the park closes at 5:00. I begged the worker to let us in but it was a failed attempt. So i let the kids play around a little while to get out some energy.
He insisted on wearing his snow boots.
Oh that face looks so innocent. But this girl is a serious spit fire. Dan and I are a little nervous about this one. You take something out of her hands and you will think that you had stabbed her in the gut and were turning the knife. I kid you not. She has started biting and hitting. I know, I should be scared and I am. She makes this breathing noise like darth vader that comes from the back of her throat. It hurts us when we try to imitate it. Her personality is coming out more and more and I love it and it makes me nervous. She is definitely a girl, dramatic, dramatic, dramatic! But we still love her to bits and pieces.

that happened to me once here - I got lucky, though, and one of the guys at the exit let me sneak in (sort of like i had just left and was coming back in ... ) since it was only for like seriously 45 minutes..
