Have you ever heard of Cross fit? Oh my goodness, I love it. A couple months back one of Danny's cousins told me that this place put all of their workouts online for free. I have been wanting to try it for a while, the gym is just down the street from us. Anyway, I got online and started to get the workouts and I have never looked back. My body has never been so sore and I have never pushed my body so hard. I LOVE IT! I have always loved these kind of workouts. I used to make things up like this in high school all the time. Well, I would run, then jump rope, then crunches, etc.... I just love it. These workouts are great b/c they are short but sooooo effective. They range from about 15-35 min. long and you are going and pushing the entire time.
A lady in my bookclub who use to the YW president that I served with used to go to gpp. At the last bookclub I asked her if she was still going. She said she hurt her shoulder and hadn't been for a while. That was the end of the conversation. Later that day I get a text from her saying " i have a month free pass to GPP that nobody wants here if you want it." I was, like, heck yes I do. Well, she dropped it off the other day in the mailbox and I started looking at the details. It was one of those livingsocial deals or something like that. She had just barely purchased it and just gave it to me. I texted her and asked "what the heck, you just bought this, are you sure you don't want it?" She just replied with "merry christmas". HOw nice is that??? SUPER NICE folks. GPP costs $100 a month which is the main reason I haven't signed up to go there. Anyway, I haven't used my free month yet but I cannot wait to.
I still run b/c let's be honest it is my relief from life and my sanity. My children, husband and myself are all happier when I get a good run in. But this cross fit jazz is remarkable. If you want to challenge yourself more then you ever have, do this. Go to gppfitness.com and start looking at the workouts. He even has links to show you how to do some of the moves if you don't know how. We just finished Hellth week last week and let me tell you it definitely lived up to it's name. Oooooh it hurts so good. I truly think I have a sickness. This was one of my favorites workouts from last week.

Just fyi I hate burpees but they are an amazing all body toner. Okay, I've rambled on enough about this place. Just do it, you won't be sorry. You can thank me now or you can thank me later!!
