Festival of Trees

I haven't been to the Festival of Trees in years.  I always want to go but it comes and goes so quick I miss it.  This year my mom knew I wanted to go and she was nice and asked if we wanted to go down with her.  She had to place an order at Kneaders for a party she was in charge of so we met there first and had some lunch.  Oh how I love Kneaders.  The Festival was great.  Surprisingly Sam wanted nothing to do with the trees he just really wanted to watch the dancing groups.  Hmmm, I'm not going to lie it made my mom and I a little nervous.  I mean, he was obsessed with watching them dance.  A future performer on our hands perhaps?  Heaven help us.  It was Ellie's nap time so she wasn't the best either.  I quite enjoyed looking at all of the trees and it brought back a ton of memories.  As a Young Women we did a couple of trees to donate to the festival and then we would volunteer there as well.  A lot of scones, suckers and good times were had during those times.  Remember friends?  I was really glad I made it this year.  Thanks mom!

There were some sweet gingerbread houses.  I almost liked these more then the trees...almost.
