We were getting ready for church a couple weeks back and Sam was insistent on wearing a tie like Dan. So Dan pulled out his shortest tie and put it on him. It's sweet, we know. He wore it the whole time at church and was seriously so proud of it. Everybody at church loved it as well. Man, this kid is a ham.
The other day Dan got into a little bit of a confrontation on the road with some punk kid. Dan doesn't get mad much but stuff like that really gets his blood boiling. So when he got home he told me the story and there was a 'what the heck' used and 'what's your problem'. Quickly after Dan finished the story Sam pretty much repeated the entire story. Including the 'what the heck' and the 'what's your problem.' It was hilarious but also very, very frightening. You really have to watch what you say around kids, they pick up everything.
Sam loves to do London Bridges. He sings it really well but he can't say his L's very good. So the 2nd verse he sings "take the keys and knock her up, knock her up, knock her up." Hilarious, yes, inappropriate, yes. Good thing he doesn't know what it means or that he even knows he is saying it but man it gets me every time. I love having conversations with him when he isn't whining. It's rare (seriously the kid whines A LOT!) That's normal 2 year old behavior, right? RIGHT?!?! My patience for whining is small but I am doing better.

He is such a cutie pie! Oh, my goodness. I love when little one's can't say their L's. It makes everything they say so cute.
