Laughing!

I had to write this quick story down before I forget it.  Dan had a training to do for his calling so he wasn't with Sam and I during sacrament meeting.  We had received the bread and were waiting for them to bless the water when Sam started 'fake' laughing.  I kept whispering to him to tell him he needed to be quiet.  The problem, I started laughing at his fake laughing which then turned into real laughing.  I mean LOUD laughing.  We both were completely out of control and I realized that when people started turning around to see what was going on we needed to leave.  I had tears streaming down my face from laughing so hard and trying to keep it quite.  I would much rather be leaving sacrament meeting because of laughing instead of screaming so I'll take it.  Oh man, Sam is a ham!

We didn't see Dan at all this week.  Even Saturday he had to work in the morning and then he took his last CPA test Saturday afternoon so it was just like another work day.  Yeah, he didn't get President's day off either.  Cry me a river, I know.  Sam has been great lately I just feel bad he never gets to see his dad.  It will only last a couple of months, we will survive.  Anyway, Sam fell asleep on the way up to Sunday dinner at the Simmons and he was out.  We put him in a bed and he slept the entire 3 or so hours we were there.  We knew this was going to be bad news for going to bed but he rarely sleeps hard like that so we decided to just let him sleep.  He woke up on the way home and was so pleasant tonight.  Oh how I wish I could get him to nap every day again.  I am convinced there would be a lot less whining.  Anyway, we were being silly and just enjoyed spending time together.  Just the three of us before this little girl comes and turns our life around.

It is now 11:35 and I haven't heard Sam for about 20 minutes.  I think he finally fell asleep.  I sang to him about 10:15 but he clearly got up and played with his animals for a while.  They are all lined up on his bed and we left them on the floor.  He is currently obsessed with animals.  Books, figurines, movies, you name it if it has animals he will love it.  All right, I'm going to read and then oh  yeah, I should probably sleep too.
