We had a great favorite things party this year. We got some great stuff and had a great time visiting.
For those that don't know what a favorite things party is, let me explain. It is a lot like Oprah's favorite things except they aren't as cool as Oprah's b/c we aren't that rich. Any who, each of us chooses one of our favorite things and gets 9 or 10 of that favorite thing. We get together, have dinner and then exchange our favorite things. We all get to come home with awesome stuff and it is just a ton of fun. This year we got 2 scarves, a book (Jane Eyre, very excited to read it), a package of everything we would need for a good day at the pool. Nail polish, chap stick, beach bag, tanning CD, sunscreen and more. Awesome long shorts and flip flops, a shade shirt, a few towels. A cool moisturizing stick for my feet. I love it! Lotion, headbands, vitamin water. I hope I covered it all. It was a great night.
I treasure these night b/c I don't get girls nights as much as I used to. As I mentioned in the previous post I love these ladies and feel super lucky to still have such good friends in my life.
