My mom and I went to the Tulip Festival down at Thanksgiving point this last week. First we had lunch at Plates and Palates again, I love that place. Anyway, the tulips were amazing. The weather was a little chilly for Sam but quite pleasant for us. They charge an arm and a leg to get into it though. $10 bucks a pop, pricey if you ask me but I guess they have to pay for all the flowers somehow. Sorry for all of the pictures but everything was soooo beautiful I couldn't help myself. We had a great time and I would highly recommend it for anybody who loves Tulips. I wanted to get a picture of all three of us together but the camera battery died, bummer. I really am not familiar with taking pictures outside yet. The lighting is so much different then in our apartment so I need to practice the different setting and white balance, etc. so I can get ready for some great summer photos. So jealous--the tulips look awesome and a relaxing day with Mom, major icing on the cake! Love that last picture of Sam.
Ah I love tulips! I am for sure going to that next year. Sam man is a doll. Are you ready for our run run of fun? I'm not :)
