She is CRAZY and oh so amazing!!

My mom is CRAZY!! It's a good crazy though, :-) No offense right mom? I am amazed at how organized and together my mom has things. Or appears to have things. Growing up I remember getting these advent calendars. I actually used to read the poem all the time and I have the original memorized. I can recite it for you sometime if you would like. Anyway, my mom made one of these for each family in our family, her sisters grandkids and a family friend. This is nowhere near a small task. As you will see each circle had a green piece of paper over what the treat was for that day. Unfortunately it looks like I forgot to move my green pieces back before I took the picture so I guess I'm caught red handed. Oopsy! I totally didn't go ahead mom, promise. ;-) Just to make these things would have taken forever with the small pieces of paper. Then having to put another small piece of paper on top. AND THEN, trying to keep it all organized like what gift goes with what day. Crazy!

I still get so excited to see what we get for each day. Now, it's not just a piece of candy. Some days are candy and other days are real nice gifts. For example, we have gotten a nice pan with our name on it, books, clothes for Sam, more books, nuts, stuff to make noodle clusters and the list goes on and on. To think that she did this for so many of us really blows my mind.

 This huge bag was STUFFED full of all of our gifts for each day. Really mom, amazing. I have loved it! If you could all see my old bedroom which I have now titled "The Christmas room" you would also be amazed. I get overwhelmed just walking in there. It is just full of gifts, treats, just tons of stuff for Christmas. I should give my dad a shout out for being so supportive of my mom spending the money on all of us. Thanks Dad! It must have taken forever to put everything together. 

The gift below was suppose to be in our bag but they didn't get it done in time so my mom just gave it to me as a gift that was suppose to be in the bag I guess. I LOVE THIS THING!! Really, if you have babies in car seats these are a must. I was getting so sick of the blanket falling off when I was carrying Sam I was going crazy. My mom had somebody make this carseat cover for me and as I said above LOVE IT!! I get compliments on it all the time and people are always asking me where I got it. Who ever made it should have given me business cards to hand out. Their loss, I guess. Thanks again Mom and Dad. We appreciate all of the hard work and money spent putting everything together.
