The angel child!

And I couldn't post without including some pictures of Sam. He was such an angel tonight. He has kind of struggled the last couple of nights because we have moved him to his crib. I have really liked having him in the bassinet in our room but I decided that it was time to move him. Usually, no matter how good or bad his day was when we would lay him down to go to bed somewhere between 7-9 (we haven't really established a set time yet) he would fall right asleep with little crying. The last couple of nights he cried for 30 or so minutes before falling asleep. He liked the bassinet, I can hardly blame him. Well, tonight he woke up from a nap at about 7 and ate. We just played and hung out for 30 minutes. I went to change his pajamas because he had spit up on the pair I had just put on him. I don't know what he was seeing while laying on his changing table but he was just freaking out. Kicking, laughing, it was crazy. He was cracking me up. After letting him just play on his changing table I picked him up and sang and rocked him. He was falling asleep so I layed him down in his crib. He looked up at me and smiled , I gave him a kiss on the cheek, told him I loved him and left the room. I haven't heard a peep from him since. He fell right asleep. I haven't been feeling very well so I was so glad that he was in a good mood tonight. We love this kid. He is such a blessing in our lives.
You may notice I have rolled something up and put it behind his head in these pictures. The last couple of days he has been leaning up out of the bouncer. He has his legs up and his head leaned up. It's almost like he wants to work out his abs or something. He is so strong. I get nervous about him leaning so far forward so I stuck a little something back there to try to give him some additional support. I don't know if it does anything but it makes me feel better.

that is the best when they actually just lay right down and go to sleep! Sounds like he got your workout energy - just keep working that core :)
